Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Ruubyt Plants to bring new life to your space! Every plant we send is grown or prepared with the same care we give to the ones in our own collection. Please take a moment to review our updated shipping policy so you know exactly what to expect when ordering from us.

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

Optional Information:

Because most of our plants are grown and conditioned in-house, we take a little extra time to ensure every order leaves our greenhouse healthy and ready for its journey.

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 5–7 business days. During high-volume or extreme-weather periods, processing times may extend slightly.
  • Shipping Days: We ship every Monday and Tuesday to prevent your plants from sitting in transit over weekends.
  • Late-Week Orders: Orders placed after 5 PM Tuesday will usually ship the following Monday.
  • Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed, followed by a tracking link once your package has shipped.
  • Tracking: Delivery estimates begin when the carrier picks up your order—not the day you place it.

Processing times may vary for Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.

2. Shipping Methods

To ensure your plants travel safely and efficiently, we currently offer the following shipping options through UPS:

  • UPS Ground (3–7 business days): Recommended for hardy plants and mild climates.
  • UPS 3rd Day Air (3 business days): Ideal for moderate temperatures and shorter distances.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air (2 business days): Great for sensitive or high-value plants to minimize time in transit.
  • UPS Next Day Air (1 business day): Best for urgent shipments or during extreme temperature conditions.

Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your order’s weight, size, and destination.

3. Packaging & Care During Transit

Every plant is packaged with precision and love.

  • Protection: Each order is cushioned with natural and recyclable materials to prevent movement or breakage.
  • Temperature Control: During hot or cold seasons, we include insulation, heat packs, or cold packs as needed.
  • Larger Plants: Items over 8 inches in pot diameter may be shipped bare root to reduce damage and shipping costs.
  • Weather Holds: If temperatures are unsafe for shipping, we’ll temporarily hold your order and notify you once conditions are suitable.

We want your plant to arrive in excellent condition—happy, hydrated, and ready to thrive.

4. U.S. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and territories. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes due to transit delays and courier restrictions.

5. International Shipping

At this time, Ruubyt Plants ships within the United States only. We are actively working on expanding international options and will provide updates when available. For special export inquiries, please contact us directly at Ruubytplants@gmail.com

6. When Your Plant Arrives

Your plant may need a little time to adjust after its trip. We recommend:

  • Unboxing immediately upon arrival.
  • Checking the soil moisture and allowing the plant to breathe in a bright, indirect-light area.
  • Avoiding immediate repotting—let it acclimate for at least 1–2 weeks before changing its container or medium.

Each plant is unique, so some minor cosmetic stress (such as a bent leaf or small bruise) is normal during transit.

7. Shipping Delays or Damage

We do our best to ensure smooth deliveries, but sometimes delays can occur.

  • Lost or Delayed Packages: If your tracking shows no movement for several days, please email Ruubytplants@gmail.com and we’ll assist in locating your shipment.
  • Damaged Plants: If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Include clear photos of the box, packing materials, plant, and shipping label.
    We’ll review each case carefully and work toward a fair resolution.

Please note that natural imperfections or a single damaged leaf may not qualify as major damage.
