Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. If you’re in the Kent, WA area, choose “local pickup” at checkout. We’ll contact you within 2 to 5 business days to arrange a time and place. Orders must be picked up within 30 days or will be canceled with a 10% restocking fee.
We’re not open to the public at this time. However, we do take part in local pop-ups and plant markets, which we announce on our Instagram, YouTube pages and on our Event tab on our website.
We don’t offer preorders. Plants are only listed for sale once we’ve personally confirmed their size, condition, and variegation so you always know exactly what you’re getting.
We accept PayPal, Apple Pay, credit, and debit cards for online orders.
We don’t accept returns or refunds for change of mind. Orders canceled before shipping are subject to a 10% restocking fee. If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us at ruubytplants@gmail.com within 6 hours of delivery and include clear photos so we can assist you.

What growing medium do you use?
Most of our plants are grown in our own Ruubytplants mix made with tree fern, perlite, pumice, lava rock, and premium sphagnum moss. This blend provides great aeration, moisture balance, and root suppo
Our plants are grown in a controlled indoor environment with 50 to 65 percent humidity and temperatures between 68 and 72 degrees year-round. They are kept under full-spectrum LED lighting on a 10-hour cycle, with light intensity adjusted to fit each species.
Unwrap your plant gently and give it time to adjust to its new environment. If the soil feels dry, water lightly. If it’s still damp, wait a few days before watering. Place the plant in a bright area with indirect light and good airflow, and let it acclimate gradually before moving it to stronger light.
Where do you ship from

All orders are shipped directly from our Ruubytplants studio in Kent, Washington. Each plant is carefully packed with love and care to ensure it arrives safely to your doorstep. Depending on weather conditions, we may include insulation and/or heat packs to protect your plants during transit.

We do our best to ship orders out as quickly as possible. However, delays may occasionally occur due to weather conditions, postal service interruptions, holidays, or natural events. Rest assured—we’ll always prioritize your plant’s safety and will send it out as soon as conditions are suitable.

Insulation is complimentary with every order. During colder months, you can choose to add a heat pack to your order directly from our shop. Our team will use the best packaging method depending on your local weather to help your plants arrive happy and healthy.

At the moment, we only ship within the United States. We hope to expand international shipping in the future as we grow!

Absolutely! If your orders share the same name and shipping address, and your first order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’ll gladly combine them into one package to save on shipping costs.

Yes, we can hold your order for up to two weeks. Just leave a note at checkout with your preferred shipping date. Our standard shipping days are Monday through Thursday to avoid weekend delays.
